A giant sinkhole opened up in Guatemala after tropic storm Agatha. At least one building was swallowed up.

    Apparently, all of Guatemala City is sitting on a loose pile of pumice that could wash away at any time and under any sustained water flow. Sinkholes like this could happen all over the city and in fact it did happen previously in 2007.
