Well its 11:56 MST Sunday enough said about the rapture. The History Channel did a show a few months back called Prophets of Doom. If you can find it it’s a pretty interesting views of peak oil, nuclear terrorism, water depletion, and the current fiscal mess the western world finds it’s self in. Two of the panel members are James Howard Kunsler, and Mike Rupert a couple of guys most people have never heard of. Kunsler is an abrasive leftist, and Mike is a little to Gloom and doom, both have valuable things to say though a critical filter.
The reasion I bring this up is because if you are paying attention you know there are enough really bad things out there that can blow this thing wide open and start a rapid or a slow decent into another dark age. The end weather is the start of something or one single cataclysmic event no body will see it coming, and many will not recognize it for what it is until it’s to late.

Could you write an article on EMP’s please? An EMP is an Electromagnetic pulse that fries all electronics, including motor vehicles (i.e. cars, trucks, airplanes.) One nuke, detonated above the atmosphere over Oklahoma, could permanently EMP all of America. We’d be in the dark, with no news, food, or water. You can see why this apocalypse is one of the more likely ones. Also, to learn more about EMP’s, i’d recommend the book One Second After, a fictional account of what it would be like if America was hit by an EMP.
